Darien

Darien has terrific news to share! She has been selected for the 2011 Hanson Youth Cheerleading National Squad. This squad received an invitation only bid to compete in the 2011 National Cheerleading Competition this February 11-14, 2011. The competition is being held at Disney’s Wide World of Sports complex in Orlando Florida, which will be televised on ESPN.

This individual selection and team invitation is a great honor that is only bestowed on champion players. In addition to weekly practices, Darien will also attend tumbling sessions, participate in other sports and activities and keep up her school work to maintain honors in school. Darien not only builds opportunities for herself but for others as well. She has been a dedicated supporter and fundraiser for the Alzheimer's Association
and this winter she will help those less fortunate families during the holiday season at My Brother's Keeper. As you can tell from Darien's busy schedule, she is extremely dedicated and hard-working for causes above and beyond herself. Helping a girl who helps and brings joy to so many others is a special way you can give back.

The 2nd "Cullen" Halloween Bash is coming up and we hope you can come to this frightful but fun night. Halloween being one of our favorite holidays we like to make sure we have a lively night planned and what better than to throw the party ourselves. In combination to this being a social event, as usual, we like to raise money for a worthy cause. Darien (our niece) will be competing at the Universal Cheerleading Association National Competition in Orlando, Florida this February. Proceeds from this event will be going toward their fundraising efforts to cover the expenses of the trip. There will be a suggested $20 donation collected, 50/50 raffle and prize for best costume!! The night will be entertained with music by DJ Mike Murphy . Dancing, costume and being 21 are a must!

You may make your $10 donation ahead of time by clicking on the chip in icon above. Donations will also be collected at the event.

Hope to see you all and make sure to spread the word, more the merrier!
